Our Montessori teachers have designed a summer camp just for our youngest campers. Campers enjoy the stability of their schedule in the Montessori environment. The classroom materials and activities have been designed to foster control of fine and gross motor skills, language skills, independence, and growth in emotional, social, and intellectual development. Lots of learning takes place beyond the classroom walls as they work in the garden, play in the sand box and go on nature walks. When it gets hot, we get wet! After lunch everyone is ready for a nap and some quiet time. Comfortable and practical clothing is essential and for water play a swimsuit and towel will be needed. We also recommend your child bring a hat and come to school each day with sunscreen already on. The staff will reapply sunscreen as needed. Children who stay all day will need to bring a lunch and nap items for rest time.
Summer Camp runs on a weekly basis from June 9 – August 15.
New Students
It is very important for infants and toddlers to have consistency in their daily and weekly schedules. For new Infant/Toddler families, we will set an appointment for an orientation in our classroom before your child begins camp. Infants and toddlers thrive with consistent daily and weekly routines and schedules. We therefore recommend new students attend consecutive days and weeks.
Registration
Enrollment is open to all children 8 weeks - 36 months old. Children do not need to be potty trained. The registration form and non-refundable registration fee of $40.00 should be returned as early as possible to ensure a space for your child. Each child will be enrolled according to the preferences on the form. If a week is full, we will call you to discuss alternatives.
**Register by May 1st and pay only $20.00 registration fee.**

Camp will not be held July 4th in observance of Independence Day.
