Non Montessori Students Welcome!
Primary Camp
Primary Camp, for children from 3 to 6 years of age, offers a variety of activities aimed at helping young campers develop social, intellectual, and physical skills. Each week will have its own theme. Themes are carefully chosen and are integrated in dramatic play, literature, cooking, crafts, gardening, music, art, and indoor and outdoor games. Water is an important ingredient in the summer and when it gets hot; we go outside and get wet. An afternoon rest or nap is available for full day preschool campers.
Our campus, which is just over two acres of woodlands, includes a fully enclosed playground and a nature preserve where campers can go out and explore our natural surroundings. Along with our themed activities, out door activities will include hiking, studying animals and plants, observing birds and bugs, and experiencing the peacefulness of our natural environment.
Staff
An experienced staff led by Abacus Montessori School’s teachers will work with the children this summer. They bring a wealth of knowledge, energy, and enthusiasm to share with the campers.
